Of nine battalions, the RHLI were the only ones to seize and hold their objective. 
Ground once taken is not surrendered.  
Ten days of counter attacks from the 1st SS panzers did not move them. Not Airborne, not Ghurkhas, not Commandos, just a bunch of Rileys. SEMPER PARATUS.
